II - The New CEO of Your Own Life
“With great power comes great responsibility”, said Uncle Ben to his nephew Peter Parker who found out to have superpowers and took that lesson from his wise mentor as a turning point for his journey.
To be a light bulb of ideas means to illuminate a whole room with clarity, to be a flashlight means to illuminate a certain direction, to be a lighthouse means to illuminate a vast portion of the sea with directions in an angle of 360º, to be a glowing sun means to illuminate everything that is and isn’t in the range of your view until the moon comes and gives a kind reprimand: “Enough shining, you are overheating the planet, now go take a rest while I get to work.”
A light bulb shining is perhaps a universal symbol to represent an idea, but having an actual idea, unfortunately, doesn’t mean having our head glow like a firefly. But it means you know the next step to take, and if you know the next step to take, leadership awaits you with the weight of the responsibility of making decisions.
